Lockdown remote possibility to fight COVID 19: PM

GUWAHATI, April 20:  Addressing the nation for over 15 minutes on the prevailing COVID19 situation, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi tonight stated that lockdown would be a remote possibility this time to fight the pandemic and government would focus on micro containment zones for the purpose.

He, therefore, called upon the people of the country to be  extremely vigilant against the  pandemic and strictly adhere to COVID protocols. He said those who have taken two doses of COVID vaccine must adhere to COVID protocols.

He called upon the youths of the country to ensure that their family members  religiously follow COVID protocols and don’t venture out of home unless there is an unavoidable purpose.
