Cops nab militant outfit member

SHILLONG, April 21: West Jaintia Hills police on Monday nabbed a member of National Liberation Front of Bodoland (NLFB), a militant outfit, and later handed over to the Ri Bhoi police.
According to a statement from police on Wednesday, the apprehended NLFB member is known for notorious criminal activities, including kidnapping and murder charges, in the districts of East Jaintia Hills, West Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi. “Incriminating evidences were recovered from his possession and at present he has been handed over to Ri Bhoi police in connection with criminal case registered against him,” the statement said.
