SHILLONG, April 22: The KSU Shillong College Unit, on Thursday, met NEHU Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Henry Lamin, seeking clarification over the delay in announcing the results of the LLB 2nd and 4th semester examinations and was assured that they will be announced within April.
The delegation was led by KSU unit’s general secretary, Alerick Kharjana, and its vice president, Baniarap Snaitang, and accompanied by KSU central body member, F Nongrem.
Kharjana asked reasons from the pro-VC about delay in declaring the results in spite of the students appearing for the examinations in January. “This delay in announcement of the result will deny students from knowing their marks which they had obtained, with which they could be able to prepare better for the future semesters,” the Union’s general secretary told the NEHU pro-vice chancellor said.
“We expect that the NEHU authorities will fulfil its commitment in the interest of the student community,” Kharjana stated.
