Excise raids
The office of the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills, conducted raids in restaurants and stalls in Shillong and its outskirts during March and made a seizure of 25.500 litre of illicitly distilled liquor and 1.980 litre of IMFL. In this connection, five persons were also arrested.
Programme
The office of the Accountant General (A&E), Meghalaya, has fixed the programme for Reconciliation of Accounts for the year 2020-21 closing February, 2021, Monthly Civil Accounts in respect of the Government of Meghalaya with the respective Controlling Officers from May 10 till to May 17.
