Theft
Steward Kharmalki lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of May 9 and 10, unknown miscreants stole battery from his vehicle (NL-05H-8122), which was parked near Nongrim Road Junction, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
Rich Thabah lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of May 9 and 10, unknown miscreants stole battery from a vehicle (ML-01-1385), which was parked on the premises of Health Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
Alkalian Nongphud lodged a complaint that on May 7 between 2 pm and 8 pm, unknown miscreants stole music system from his vehicle (ML-05P-5262), which was parked near All Saints Cathedral Church, Shillong.
Assistant EE, Khliehtyrshi Distribution Sub-Division, MePDCL, lodged a complaint that unknown miscreant(s) stole transformer oil from two 100 KVA distribution transformers installed at Mukhla Mission and Thadlaskeiñ, West Jaintia Hills. The incident was found after a report of outage of electricity in the affected area on May 3 and 6, and the total loss valued around Rs 4,40,638.

Cattle seized
Joginder Singh Dagar, Assistant Commandant A-Coy, 30 Bn., BSF, BOP Nongkhen, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on May 10 around 9 pm, BSF personnel recovered 21 heads of cattle from general area, BP No. 1276/1-S, suspected to be meant for smuggling to Bangladesh. The suspected smuggler(s), however, fled the scene.
Inspector Banka Ram, Company Commander, B-Coy, 30 Bn BSF, Hawatilla, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on May 7 around 7 pm, BSF personnel seized 19 heads of cattle from general Area 1286/3R, reportedly meant to be smuggled to Bangladesh.

Break-in
Bilinda Shadap lodged a complaint that on May 10 around 7 am, unknown miscreant(s) broke into her shop at Jellyshop, Nongthymmai, in an attempt to commit theft.
Md. Rofikul Islam lodged a complaint that on the night of May 3, unknown miscreant(s) broke into his shop at Hallidayganj Bazar, West Garo Hills, and stole mobile phones and Rs 16,000 in cash.
