Tura market reports more COVID cases

TURA, May 11: Fourteen more COVID-19 cases were detected from Tura bazaar during the Day 2 of random testing conducted by district surveillance teams on Tuesday. West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Ram Singh, has informed that restrictions will have to be placed on the number of shops that will be allowed to open.
“We will be restricting the number of shops open each day. Our incident commanders have been conducting active surveillance in market areas for adherence to the protocols,” said Ram Singh as he advised everyone coming to the market area to adhere to protocols.
