City student wins 2nd prize in natl competition

SHILLONG, June 9: A Class V student from Mayfair Secondary School, Laitumkhrah, Abraar Warjri, has bagged the second prize in a national-level poster making and slogan writing competition held on the occasion of World Environment Day recently. The competition was organised by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) for the age group 7-10 years.
The Principal, teachers and students of the school are proud of their student and his achievement.
