PDS quota
Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Amlarem Sub-Division, has informed that NFSA foodgrains (AAY and PHH) and non-NFSA foodgrains for June will be released to the fair price shop dealers up to June 16. AAY rice will be issued at the scale of 35kg per household at the rate of Rs 3 per kg while PHH will be issued at the scale of 5kg per head at Rs 3 per kg and also non-NFSA at a rate not exceeding Rs 14 per kg. All fair price shops are directed to distribute the quota to public, the SDO said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner (Supply) of West Garo Hills also informed that rice for AAY, PHH beneficiaries under Tura Sadar Division and rice under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kaliyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) for the month of June in respect of Tura Sadar Division has been released. The DC directed all fair price shop dealers under Tura Sadar Division to issue rice as per government-prescribed scale of 5 kg of rice per head per month (free of cost) for both AAY and PHH beneficiaries while there is no allotment for non-NFSA beneficiaries.

SK Oil
The Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply) of Amlarem has informed that SK Oil for May has been released to the retailers on June 5 while directing all fair price shops to distribute the quota to the public. Any complaint of non-receipt or overcharging can be submitted to the SDO’s office.
