Man gets life for murder in WKH

NONGSTOIN, June 10: A court in West Khasi Hills has convicted one Dilip Kumar Kharmawlong for murder and sentenced him to life imprisonment with fine of Rs 20,000.
Kharmawlong had assaulted one Jaianstar Kharmawlong with a hammer in Sangshong village in Mairang on November 2nd of 2018. The victim, later, succumbed to his injuries.
The matter was earlier reported to Mairang Police Station, following which the police arrested the accused.
