SHILLONG, June 11: Students of North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) have expressed dissent over the delay on part of the varsity in declaring the results of the B.Sc fifth semester exams.
The students complained that the delay on part of the NEHU administration has jeopardised their chances of getting admission for further studies in prestigious institutions as many of these students have reportedly applied for various masters courses in different universities across the country.
A concerned parent said that the exams were conducted in March but the results are yet to be announced.
The parent also claimed that his daughter would have to give up her M.Sc seat if the results are not declared within the third week of June. “To get the provisional admission, the universities have asked us to submit the fifth semester’s marksheet,” he said.
