No water supply in Shillong tomorrow

SHILLONG, June 21: The PHE department has informed the general public that normal water supply to areas under Shillong will be affected on Wednesday in view of emergency repair of the Greater Shillong Water Supply (GSWS) water works at Mawphlang, which will be shut down.
Urging the public to reserve water for use during the shutdown period, the office of the Executive Engineer (PHE) said, “Every effort shall be made to complete the repair works within the shutdown period and normal water supply shall resume by Thursday morning (June 24)”.
