SHILLONG, Aug 8: The district administration of East Khasi Hills, in an order, has permitted all shops/stalls at Iewduh to open three times a week as per regulated arrangement to be formulated by the Incident Commander of Zone-IV and the Syiem of Hima Mylliem.
However, Basa Jhur (vegetable market) will remain closed till further orders.
The order has stated that most of the vendors/shopkeepers at the traditional market have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
