M’laya to get Rs 91.94 cr to tackle pandemic

Guwahati, Aug 17: The Centre will provide a financial package of Rs 1,353 crore to the Northeastern states to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced on Tuesday.
Meghalaya will receive Rs 91.94 crore as part of the package.
“By utilising the fund, the Northeastern states can enhance health facilities to combat the pandemic more aggressively,” Mandaviya said.
