Book launch
Archbishop of Shillong, Victor Lyngdoh, on Sunday released two books to mark the 75th Independence Day and the day of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven. The books — Ka Ïiengkyntang Jngoh Pilkrim bad ka Jingleh riewblei ïa ka Dohnud Bakhuid Tam u Jisu by Fr Augustine Benvitason Khrawlang Warbah and Ka Duriaw Galilea by Fr Breson Paul Ranee — were launched during a function in the Sacred Heart Shrine, Nongmensong. The books have been made available at Pauline Books & Media Centre, Laitumkhrah, and at Nongmensong Parish.

According to a statement, the webinar was organised in with an objective to enable the participants have a clear-cut idea about the concept of social entrepreneurship through dissemination of knowledge and expertise. The webinar was attended by students, renowned social entrepreneur Ashangbam Swapan Kumar Singha, founder of RIGBO Momee Pegu, et al.
