Senior Meghalaya kickboxers set for WAKO India C’ships

SHILLONG, Aug 22: A total of 22 kickboxers and officials including 2 women athletes led by 4 International kickboxers met Sports Minister Meghalaya Banteidor Lyngdoh during a warm send off ahead of the WAKO India Seniors & Masters National Kickboxing Championship – 2021 from August 26- 29 at Mapusa, Goa.
The championship is being organised by the Amateur Sports Kickboxing Association of Goa under the aegis of WAKO India Kickboxing Federation.
The team leaders include two popular International kickboxers – Hameshaniah Suiam and Asian Gold Medallist in Musical Form Of Kickboxing the Golden Eagle, Pynnehbor Mylliemngap from Smit – and other prominent medalists including Pynshrain Miki Rabon who represented India at the WAKO World Championship 2019 in Sarajevo along with Belldona Pakyntein who represented India at the 2015 Cadets & Junior Category in Rimini, Italy.
Sports Minister Banteidor Lyngdoh wished the team success for the championships.
