262 cases, two deaths in state

SHILLONG, Aug 27: Meghalaya on Friday recorded 262 fresh COVID-19 cases while 279 patients recovered from the infection in the past 24 hours.
Two more people died of COVID-related complications, taking the death toll to 1,296.
The active tally now stands at 2,663 while 71,120 have recovered so far.
