The State Council of Science, Technology & Environment (SCSTE), Meghalaya, has invited children between the age group of 10-17 years to participate in the National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC). According to a statement on Friday, a deadline of September 30 has been fixed for registration for the programme while additional information in this regard has been made available on the website www scste.org. “In this programme children are to take up a small study on the issues or problems which arise in their immediate surrounding. Also, the Council has developed online lessons on Mathematics and Science for class 10 students of MBoSE. The lessons may be viewed in SCSTE Meghalaya YouTube channel,” the statement said.

Website launch
The New Dawn Meghalaya recently launched its official website, www.newdawnmeghalaya.com, where people will get access to the major concerns being pursued by the New Dawn Meghalaya. A statement in this regard also informed that local languages for the site are in the pipeline. “The site highlights the rise of New Dawn Meghalaya as a Progressive political front,” the statement said.
