243 fresh cases, six deaths

SHILLONG, Sep 15: Meghalaya on Wednesday recorded 243 fresh cases of COVID-19 while six more patients succumbed to the viral infection in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 1,367.
The active tally now stands at 1,664 while 75,698 patients have recovered so far including 262 on Wednesday.
109 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 75 in West Khasi Hills, 32 in Ri Bhoi, ten in South West Khasi Hills, seven each in West Garo Hills and West Jaintia Hills and one each in East Jaintia Hills, North Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills.
