SHILLONG, Sep 28: A complainant of an FIR, Joshua Wahlang, who was assaulted by some unknown persons recently, has clarified that a message, which he learned was circulating on social media stating that the perpetrators are non-tribals, is not factual.
Wahlang has informed the public that he never said anything to that effect in the FIR as he is waiting for the police to conduct their investigation.
He has called upon the public not to give credence to such rumours which could create unnecessary misunderstanding and communal tension in the city.
