SHILLONG, Sep 29: The KSU on Wednesday submitted a memo-randum to Health Minister James Sangma, requesting him to expedite the work on Shillong Medical College.
Stating that it sees lack of commitment on the government’s part, the Union, in its memorandum, said that it had time and again expressed its dismay over the sluggish efforts while, at the same time, pushing for speedy completion of the college.
The KSU reiterated to the Health minister that there is a need to revisit the agreement signed with Kali Pradip Choudhuri, a Kolkata-based firm, for developmental work of the college.
