121 fresh cases, two deaths

SHILLONG, Oct 8: The state on Friday recorded 121 fresh cases of COVID-19 while two more patients succumbed to the infections taking the death toll to 1,415.
The active tally now stands at 1,326 while 79,542 patients have recovered so far. There were 74 recoveries on the day.
54 fresh cases were reported in West Khasi Hills, 48 in East Khasi Hills, 10 in Ri Bhoi, three in East Garo Hills, two each in South West Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills and one each in East Jaintia Hills and West Garo Hills.
