Talks on digital transformation

TURA, Oct 9: The Department of Physics, Don Bosco College, Tura, organised a discussion on ‘Digital Transformation: Limitless Possibilities’ on Thursday, which was attended by students and faculty members numbering around 150.
West Garo Hills District Maternal Child Health Officer, Dr. Ivonne M Sangma, during the programme, shared her experiences how technology has helped in vaccination against COVID-19.
Head-Business Strategy, APAC Ericsson, Bangalore, Abhijit Dutta, who was the resource person, gave insights on the topic. Informing that almost 70 per cent of the companies recruit non-engineering students nowadays, he encouraged the students to accord focus to the fundamentals of science and technology.
