Unclaimed body
An unknown body, aged between 30 to 34 years, was recovered from Punjabi Lane, Shillong, on October 6. According to a statement from police, the body was subsequently shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital for autopsy and inquest. Meanwhile, the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for identification and claim. According to the statement, the height of the deceased is approximately 5 feet and his complexion is dark. He was found wearing maroon sweater, black and grey jacket, yellow full-length trousers with red belt, and one black rubber ring on left hand.
