Veteran Basketball Tournament to be held in city from Oct 18

SHILLONG, Oct 17: The East Khasi Hills District Basketball Association will be organising the first ever above 30 Basketball Tournament in the city.
The event will be held at the St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School from the 18th to 23rd October 2021 with a total of 15 teams participating in the tournament from all over the state.
There are 9 Teams in the Men’s category and 6 Teams competing in the Women’s Category. The event will be streamed live on the East Khasi Hills District Basketball Association Facebook page.
The teams that are taking part in this tournament are Iaineh S.C, Eastern Range, 99 problems, Lumshyiap United, Mawphlang, Madanriting, Nongstoin Ballers, Nongrim Hills S.C and Promising S.C in the Men’s category while the Women’s category include SYM, Sparkles, Promising S.C, Splash, Jowai Ballers and Lawsohtun Marvels.
