Workshop
Forests & Environment Minister, James PK Sangma, will address a delegation of journalists from across the North East on the effects of climate change during an online training workshop on Friday. A statement in this regard informed that James, who will attend the workshop as the keynote speaker, will also confer about key environmental issues in Meghalaya and the solutions for the same.
Deworming Day
The District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills, will observe the National Deworming Day from October 21 to 28 across the district. “During these days, administration of Albendazole tablets to all children and adolescents in the age group 1-19 years will be done directly by the frontline workers,” a statement in this regard said.
