Outgoing WKH DC receives farewell

NONGSTOIN,Oct 23: Members of the Officer’s Club in West Khasi Hills bade farewell to the outgoing Deputy Commissioner T Lyngwa recently during a programme at the DRDA Hall, Circuit House, Nongstoin.
Lyngwa, in his farewell speech, expressed gratitude to one and all for their cooperation and support during the trying times of COVID-19.
He also exhorted the officials to continue their endeavours for the welfare of the people.
The Officer’s Club also felicitated the outgoing deputy commissioner during the programme.
The farewell programme was attended by ADC PD Sangma, SP HG Lyngdoh, DM&HO Dr. SA Lyngdoh, among other district officials.
It may be mentioned that following a recent bureaucratic rejig, Lyngwa has been given the charge of Secretary to the C&RD department.
