Robbery
Md Ifazul Hoque Choudhury lodged a complaint on October 26 that five unidentified miscreants assaulted and robbed him and his cousin of Rs 60,000 and other valuable items at Umnget village, Ri Bhoi, while they were proceeding from Karimganj towards Guwahati.

Cattle seized
Post Commander, BSF BOP Umsyiem, East Khasi Hills, lodged a complaint that on October 25 around 10.30 am, BSF personnel detected suspicious movement of unidentified miscreants near BP No. 1272/4-S, East Khasi Hills. When the personnel signalled them to stop, the miscreants fled to a nearby jungle. Later, during search of the PO, BSF personnel recovered three heads of cattle.

Theft bid
Sohan Sarki, ATM Channel Manager, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on October 24 night, unknown miscreants vandalized ATM kiosk installed at Law-U-Sib Shillong and attempted to commit theft.
Stevenson Syiem lodged a complaint that on October 24 around 3 am, one Joil Khyllem Kharai (50) was apprehended while stealing one electric water pump from his house at Mawkyrwat, South West Khasi Hills.
