TURA, Nov 7: Administrations from various districts of Garo Hills have begun the conduct of online surveys to determine the number of potential competitive exam candidates who would be interested to appear in various examinations like the NEET, JEE, NET and others.
The purpose of the survey is to get an idea about the number of such candidates from the entire region before an examination centre is set up at Tura in West Garo Hills.
To participate in the survey, all the students need to go to a link (https://forms.gle/sPUNrjFPLvrK5tFW9), fill in the details asked for and submit. Students can submit their responses latest by November 10.
It may be mentioned that in the absence of any such examination centre in Garo Hills so far, candidates from the region are compelled to travel to state capital Shillong to participate in the exams. The setting up of the centre at Tura would provide easy access to students from the region to be a part of the examination process.
