44 fresh cases, no death

SHILLONG, Nov 12: The state on Friday recorded 44 fresh COVID-19 cases while no death was reported in the past 24 hours.
The active tally now stands at 296 while 82,248 people have recovered from the viral infection including 21 on the day. The death toll in the state remains at 1462.
32 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, three each in West Khasi Hills, East Jaintia Hills and West Garo Hills and one each in East Garo Hills, Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills.
