SHILLONG, Nov 18: Starlington Dkhar scored twice to see Mawshbuit SC hand Gorkha SC a 2-0 defeat in a Third Division football match here on Thursday. Starlington gave his side an early 2nd minute lead before making it 2-0 in the 5nd minute. Batiplang Bamon also scored a brace for Mawpat as they managed to snatch a closely-fought 2-1 win over Sanmer SC. Batiplang also gave his side an early lead, scoring in the 6th minute before Babitdor Dorphang levelled for Sanmer with a 27th minute goal. However, Batiplang regained the lead for his side when he foudn the back of the net in the 55th minute. On Friday’s Third Division matches, Umpling SC meet Umlyngka SC at 12 pm while Nongmensong SC and Laitlyngkot SC play the second match at 2:15 pm.
