Bilgaro 2021 concludes in Tura

TURA, Nov 21: The sixth edition of Bilgaro organised by the Tura Motor Sports Club (TMSC) concluded recently amidst much fanfare at Dodinanggre, Asibra where the Sprint event was held on the final day.
Drivers competed in the event across four different categories or classes depending on the power of their vehicles with those up to 1300 CC being classified as Class I. Other categories in the Bilgaro 2021 competiton were Class II, Class III and Overall.
Prior to the Sprint, the Hill Climb event was held at Marakgre, Jengjal on November 19 in which altogether 21 participants both local and those from outside Garo Hills like Shillong, Delhi, Dimapur, Kohima and others took part.
The event was flagged-off from Goeragre on day 1 by GHADC CEM, Benedict R Marak, after which all the vehicles drove off to Marakgre for the Hill Climb.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of the different categories were Sandeep Sharma, Abhigyan Dowania and Ruchir C Marak (Class I), Ryan Silkam M Sangma, Andy Donald Mawrie and Ewelson Lyngdoh (Class II), Larry Mukhim, Thingku N Marak and Ruchir C Marak (Class III).
Larry Mukhim, Sandeep Sharma, Ryan Silkam M Sangma, Ewellson Lyngdoh and Andy Donald Mawrie, were the top five winners in the overall category.
On the final day of the event, GHADC MDC Grahambell A Sangma who was the Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the winners at Dodinanggre.
