SHILLONG, Nov 21: A joint inspection into the ongoing construction works of various projects at Madan Laban under South Shillong Constituency was conducted on Saturday.
The different projects were initiated by South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai and sanctioned under SYS State Scheme and AMRUT Central Scheme at over Rs 2 crore, a statement issued here informed.
The joint inspection was carried by the MLA, government officials and members of the Dorbar Shnong and other local organisations.
Shullai thanked officials of various departments for preparation of the plan estimate, members of Lumparing Welfare Society and Shillong Cantonment Area Development Committee, the societies, besides land owners for donating their land for the welfare of the general public.
