14 killed in Azerbaijan military chopper crash

Baku, Nov 30 : A military helicopter belonging to Azerbaijan’s Border Service crashed on Tuesday during a training exercise, killing 14 people onboard and injuring two others, officials said.

The crash took place in the Azerbaijani district of Khizi at around 10.40 a.m. (local time), the Border Service and Office of the Prosecutor General said in a joint statement, Xinhua news agency reported.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident, officials said.(IANS)
