Nine fresh cases, no death

SHILLONG, Dec 5: The state on Sunday recorded nine fresh cases of COVID-19 cases while no death was reported due to the viral infection in the past 24 hours.
The active tally now stands at 298 while 82,864 people have recovered from the viral infection including 11 on the day. The death toll in the state remains at 1,475.
Eight fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills and one in East Garo Hills.
