Members of the Rotary Club of Cherry Blossom, Shillong, during their trip to Mawsynram. On the occasion of Christmas, the Club and Mawsynram MLA HM Shangpliang felicitated Sister Veronica, a nurse at PHC Mawsynram, who ensured successful deliveries of over 145 newborns during the nationwide lockdown. The club and the MLA also donated two hospital beds and a baby warmer. The club also donated over 200 school textbooks donated by donors from across the state to four rural schools in Mawsynram.
