State logs six COVID cases, no death

SHILLONG, Dec 27: Meghalaya on Monday reported six new cases of COVID-19 while a total of 11 people recovered from the infection, according to government data.
With this, the total active cases in the state stand at 59 while total recovered cases are 83,257.
The total confirmed cases and total COVID-19-related fatalities, on the other hand, are 84,799 and 1,483 respectively. Out of the new COVID-19 cases, four were reported from East Khasi Hills and two from West Garo Hills district. Of the 11 recoveries, six were from East Khasi Hills, four from Ri-Bhoi and one from South West Khasi Hills.
