STP regulates vehicular movement on GS Road

SHILLONG, Dec 28: In a bid to ease traffic congestion on GS Road, the Shillong Traffic Police (STP) has issued regulations for vehicles, which will remain in place till January 1, 2022.
The STP has declared no-entry zone from Grand Hotel point towards Khyndai Lad from 2 pm onwards with immediate effect.
“Vehicles coming from Motphran and Umsohsun wanting to proceed towards Khyndailad will have to take the Boucher Road,” the STP said.
On the other hand, the stretch from Khyndai Lad till Grand Hotel junction i.e., the entire stretch of GS Road, has been declared a no-parking zone between 8 am and 8 pm.
