2nd Division Cricket: Jersey King, Raj Bhavan post wins

SHILLONG, Jan 11: Jersey King and Raj Bhavan won their respective Shillong Cricket Association Second Division matches, here on Tuesday. In the first game, Jersey King batted first and were bowled out by Slog Warriors for 114 in 19 overs. Player-of-the-Match Vijay Sunar top-scored with 46 runs while Rakesh Rai took 3/10. In reply, Slog Warriors fell just 6 runs short as they were bowled out for 108 in 17.4 overs. Rohsan Singh scored 36 while Sanjeev took 3/17. Later in the day, Sumer CC batted first after winning the toss against Raj Bhavan, posting 143/4 in 20 overs. Bernard Sangma was the top-scorer with 33 while Tarak Sinha took 2/29. Raj Bhavan then scored 146/4 in 18.4 overs, winning by 6 wickets. Player-of-the-Match Kiran Ram smashed 42 off 34 balls. Jewel took 2/20.
