Raj Bhavan, Jersey Kings continue winning spree

SHILLONG, Jan 15: Raj Bhavan and Jersey Kings carried on their winning momentum, winning their respective Shillong Cricket Association Second Division matches, here on Saturday.
In the first match, Raj Bhavan won the toss and elected to bat first against Cluster CC, posting 139/8 in 20 overs. Robin Chettri was Raj Bhavas top-scorer with a run-a-ball 33. Mukesh bowled took 2/31 in 4 overs.
Cluster could only manage to score 60 before being bowled out in 12.3 overs with Vikram top scoring with 15. Player-of-the-Match Sunil Yadav wreaked havoc, returning figures of 4/14 from his 4 overs while Sanjeev Chettri took 3/14 in 4 overs to hand their side a convincing 79-run victory.
Later in the day, Malki CC won the toss and batted first against Jersey Kings, before being bowled out for 100 in 19.5 overs.
Raymond Mylliempdah scored 17 runs for Malki. Arun Sewa was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3/10 while teammate and Player-of-the-Match Vivek Sunar took a hat-trick to finish with figures of 3/17.
Jersey Kings then scored 102/7 in 18.1 overs to win by three wickets. Vijay Sunar played a patient knock of 37 that came off 51 balls while Vivek Sunar added 17 runs off 14 balls.
Peter Mylliempdah bowled well for Malki, taking 4/13 from 4 overs.
