Group holds community services, helps needy

SHILLONG, Jan 21: Reaching out to the needy sections of the society in Shillong, JCI Shillong Divas recently conducted various community services.
Under the campaigns ‘Sharing Warmth’ and ‘Feed a Mouth’, the group provided vulnerable people with warm blankets, winter clothing, dry ration including rice, potatoes, sugar and essential items like vaseline and led lights.
In addition, it also celebrated Road Safety Week 2022 and paid tribute to the traffic police of the city under a programme held near Sani Mandir called ‘Satkaar STP’.
Notably, the projects were supervised and attended by Neesha Jhunjhunwala (president), Prerna Chokhani (secretary), Sneha Mehariwalla (treasurer), Pooja Bhoot (VP program) and Sricha Agarwal (chairperson).
