TURA, Jan 27: A complaint has been submitted to the Director of School Education and Literacy, Shillong, seeking the dissolution of the School Management Committee of Magurmari GA Secondary School in West Garo Hills, alleging anomalies in its formation.
Two residents from the area, Abdul Aziz SK and Abdul Hashan SK, have raised the demand reportedly on behalf of parents and guardians of the school.
According to the complainants, no general meeting was held for the formation of SMC and no parents and guardians are part of the SMC.
As a result, they urged the DSEL to direct the DSEO to dissolve the SMC and start the process of forming a legitimate SMC with the inclusion of legal parents and guardians.
