Road mishap in Ri-Bhoi hurts 2

NONGPOH, Jan 28: A woman and her chauffeur were injured during a road mishap at Killing road near National Highway 6, Ri-Bhoi.
The woman has been identified as Pdianghunshisha Lyngkhoi, a faculty member of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM).
As per reports, the accident took place at around 10 am when Lyngkhoi, a resident of 7 Mer Upper Shillong, was on her way to the University.
However, on reaching Bitchem Company office, just a few metres away from the campus, her vehicle (ML05G5516) fell into the gorge, leaving the two injured.
It may, however, be mentioned that the car was severely damaged in the course and the cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained.
