TURA, Jan 28: The principal of Haripuri Namabilla Higher Secondary School in West Garo Hills, who was earlier accused of attempting to illegally recruit two Science teachers for his vested interests, has termed the allegations against him as ‘baseless’.
In a statement on Thursday, Principal Hadisul Islam said the recruitment was conducted in adherence to standard procedures and with the authorisation from the DSEO.
Earlier, Jamial Hoque, a former SMC president of the same school, had alleged various anomalies in the recent recruitment of two teachers and had demanded that their interviews which were already taken be scrapped.
