Four deaths, 210 fresh cases

SHILLONG, Jan 31: The state on Monday recorded 210 fresh cases of COVID-19 while four more patients succumbed to the viral infection in the past 24 hours taking the death toll to 1,526.
Two deaths were reported in East Khasi Hills, one in Ri-Bhoi and another in West Garo Hills.
The active tally stands at 2,313 while 87,255 people have recovered from the viral infection including 246 on the day.
124 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 32 in West Garo Hills, 13 in South West Garo Hills, 12 in Ri-Bhoi, seven in West Jaintia Hills, six in East Jaintia Hills, four each in Eastern West Khasi Hills and West Khasi Hills, three each in South Garo Hills and South West Khasi Hills and two in East Garo Hills.
As on Monday, 9,32,307 beneficiaries in the state have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
