Conrad expects Shillong Tech Park to create 1500 jobs

Shillong, Feb 2: The Shillong Technology Park which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today, is expected to create 1500 jobs.

With  70 per cent of the state’s population below the age of 35, the CM said, this Tech Park would channel the momentum of our youth towards a bright Meghalaya in the IT sector.

The CM also inaugurated the TechDigital’s office space in the newl- launched Shillong Technology Park.

This BPO will provide over 300 local employment and is one of the IT companies in the Tech Park. Sangma is hopeful that this new venture will create many opportunities for the youth
