Shillong, Feb 2: Meghalaya Police have arrested four people in connection with the IED blast that was triggered in Khyndai Lad in the heart of the city last Sunday evening.
“All those involved in IED blast have been arrested and investigation is on. We will move forward and get to the people they were in touch with and who could have assisted them. People directly involved have been arrested”, the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said.
“The four were supporters and sympathisers of the HNLC. We will be very firm and take strict action. Those who intend to spread fear and terror will not be spared,” the CM added.
