Super Div Cricket: Sputnik edge Titans by 14 runs

SHILLONG, Feb 3: Sputnik CC managed to squeeze out a 14-run win over Titans in their Shillong Cricket Association Super Division match, here on Thursday courtesy a brilliant century by Player-of-the-Match Swarajeet Das. Batting first, Sputnik posted a challenging total of 227 in 40 overs before being bowled out. Swarajeet scored 114 off 112 balls while Tarique Siddique contributed a valuable 21. Abhishek Biswa took 2/38. Titans looked set to achieve the target but were eventually restricted to scored 213/8 in the allotted 40 overs, losing narrowly by 14 runs. Rahul Shah top-scored with 77 while Hiraj Rabha added 29 runs. Amiangshu Sen was the pick of the bowlers, claiming figures of 3/32 from his 8 overs.
