Four deaths, 123 fresh cases

SHILLONG, Feb 5: The state on Saturday recorded 123 fresh cases of COVID-19 while four more patients succumbed to the viral infection in the past 24 hours taking the death toll to 1,542.
Three deaths were reported in East Khasi Hills and one in Ri-Bhoi.
The active tally stands at 1,645 while 88,957 people have recovered from the viral infection including 313 on the day.
54 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 27 in West Garo Hills, 13 in Ri-Bhoi, five in Eastern West Khasi Hills, four each in East Jaintia Hills, South West Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills, three each in West Khasi Hills, South Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills, two in East Garo Hills and one in North Garo Hills.
