House in WKH gutted in fire

NONGSTOIN, Feb 10: A house was burnt down to ashes in Tinniang village, West Khasi Hills, on Thursday.
As per sources, the house of one Aitiburom Kharbani caught fire at around 8 am when her children were preparing lunch while she was away herself, washing clothes by the stream.
Meanwhile, the Tinniang and Riwiang units of the KSU have donated CGI sheets, clothes, blankets and basic commodities to the affected family.
