SHILLONG, Feb 15: The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA) has announced that it will continue its sit-in demonstration in the entire state on February 25 from 11 am till 3 pm.
The MUPSTA stated the agitation is to press the government to fulfill their demand — fully upgrade all 844 ad hoc Upper Primary schools to deficit system.
The decision was taken on February 10, during the central executive committee meeting of MUPSTA at Mawkhar Christian Higher Secondary School, Mawkhar.
Demonstrations will be held in respective district headquarters across the state and the venue for the sit-in will be decided by the district leaders.
